Cask at Birmingham Beer Festival 2016; dark chestnut brown pour with a thin tan head, aroma has dark fruits, taste has stewed fruits, hint of coffee. Travlr (24262) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 1, 2016
Cask at Piccadilly Tap. Clear amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of fruity coffee grounds. Taste is boozy plum and earthy coffee, tannins. Different. jamesie1857 (2107) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2016
On cask at Sheaf View, Heeley - Deep amber body, off white head. Nose is earthy and roasty. Taste has a sweet warmth that sends this away lovely, with the palate making it a winner. I was knocked a-back by this one after a day of golden blands around Sheffield.

Fox & Goose Beer Festival, Hebden Bridge. Dark red, no head. Very sweet with plenty of rum notes that are dominant in both aroma and taste.

Aroma: medium caramel malts, some alcohol noticeable. Appearance: brown, hardly any head. Taste: medium to heavy sweet. Palate: some bitters coming up towards the end of the long finish. Overall: very nice Porter. Pint at the GBBF13, London. Leighton (21075) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2013
Sampled at GBBF 2013, London - Day 2. Pours clear brown with a light, frothy head. Nose of dark brown bread with touches of rubber and chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with toasted brown bread and mild dark fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Simple finish of toasted malts, brown bread and restrained cocoa. Alright overall. (Cask, GBBF 2013): Dark brown in colour, tiny head. Aroma smelt like a cardboard box, wasn’t impressed by that all. The taste redeemed it somewhat with some nice liquorice and coffee flavours. Yet, the aftertaste was cardboard or something similar. Odd one, maybe it was just off. JorgeLee (2085) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2013
Cask at GBBF 2013. Brownish in colour, not much head. Quite an unusual one this, malty with toffee and caramel. Some bread. Not too much hoppiness. More of a strong ale or an old ale than a modern day porter maybe. Felt a bit anaemic for 6%. ng9beermonkey (43) - ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2012
Served at notts beer festival. Lovely dark, full of flavour, coffee, nuts, toast, licorice
