Cask @ Hare & Hounds, Holcombe Brook near Rawtenstall. Golden with a thick head. Has a mild fruitiness with the most evident in its aftertaste, and some in its aroma. Has a floralness about it, but it’s not a flavoursome ale. Bavarian in style, but still very much an ale. Brigadier (3725) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2013

Ever had a beer that started out promising and then fell flat on its face? This goes into that category. A dismal example of something beery mocks the people who have done it well. Skip past unless you want just another tick.
Aroma / Appearance - The flat golden body is a sign of good cask treatment. The nose is promising with hints of bubble gum, banana bread, and candy sugar. One flaw is that the saccharine nature does get to be cloying even without taking a sip.
Flavor / Palate - The mouthfeel lets down a beer with so much potential. Thin watery streams of banana and bubble gum tickle the tongue like past memories. The weak finish is gone before you can even get out your pen. A sad impression of a weiss beer shows that some beers are all bark with no bite.

Hazy yellow gold with a thin but stable white head. Proper weiss like stuff. Estery as hell, lots of banana. Very fruity. Lots of wheat and coriander. A decent cask weiss overall.

Cask @ The Crescent, Manchester.
Pours hazy, pale yellow-golden with a nice, staying, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, good amount of wheat, some banana and spices. Light, prickly carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is sweetish, some citric notes, light coriander and sweet wheat. Fair for a wheat ale.
