Pours a golden amber color with a medium off-white head, slightly hazy. Aroma is slightly sweet; caramel malts and hops. Taste is not too strong, mild with a light bitterness to it. Carbonation is a little flat, medium body but quite smooth on the palate. Overall it is easy drinking and fairly nice, good beer. paco (576) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - APR 21, 2010
i had big hopes for this one. Pours a light brown color with a nice white head. Aromas of hops, caramel and cardboard. Bitter at first then quickly becomes watery. Some noticeable hops throughout. Overall bland and boring. Oakes (18496) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 17, 2010
Hazy amber. Thin head. Balanced character. Light caramel and earth. Vague all round. Moderate bitterness. Very middle of the road character, just not that interesting. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 24, 2010
PPRBSG 09. Poured a hazy yellow gold color with a large white head. Sweet malt aroma with a light fruit component. Mildly sweet malt flavor with some hops included on the finish. Light-medium bodied. mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 13, 2010
Pours golden with a frothy head. Bitter malts on the aroma and flavour, more on the hoppy side. Not bad.

1 litre bottle. Pours golden with frothy white head which lasts the length of the glass. Taste was bitter with mild hoppyness. A very nice example of the Bitter style. pintbypint (3763) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 27, 2009
1L brown swingtop. Golden colour with a fine haze. Medium sized soapy head with some clinging lacing. Aroma has a whiff of light apple, lemon, some straw notes. Flavour has caramel accents, grains, some grassy hops. Citrusy aftertaste with mild leafy hops, light bitterness. Light body, mild carbonation. Likable, sessionalble, straightforward. Big 1L swingtop shared with Parksy. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with an average white head. Grainy aroma with soft grassy notes and fruity perfume, reminding me a little of orange blossom. This delicate nuance was lost after the beer rested however. Flavour was of pale malts with a kiss of fruity hops and low bitterness. More like a golden ale IMHO.
