Bottle. Pours a pales yellow-gold with a quickly reduced white head, that leaves a persistent ring and good lacing. Nose of soft malt, biscuit, mild hop presence in the nose; nice and crisp and malty and clean. Palate is also light and clean with decent hopping, good fruity maltiness, and a crisp finish. A very sessionable but not terribly complex bitter. dogfish120love (1331) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 11, 2009

Very pale golden beer. Very fresh crackery malt aroma. Light wheaty/spicy notes. Flavour also shows a very clean, crisp malt base with a touch of pleasant fruity estery character. Clean, well-balanced and easy to drink... just what you want in a bitter. LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2009

Large ceramic swing-top bottle I believe was brought by JoeMcPhee. Pours a slightly hazed light gold with a linen white head. Mild aroma of citrus and grain. Flavor is a bit more distinct than the aroma with moderate grain and light bitterness at the finish. I believe this is my first B.C. rating! Fizzy light golden with a white head. Biscuity crackery aroma- fizzy feel, a bit thin feeling. Dry flavor with a lightly crackery background and mild bread crust notes. Simple, but nice and dry throughout. yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - JUN 1, 2009

Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium white head. Smells of lager style grain and a bit of hops. More grain on a medium body.
