Bottle. Pours a pales yellow-gold with a quickly reduced white head, that leaves a persistent ring and good lacing. Nose of soft malt, biscuit, mild hop presence in the nose; nice and crisp and malty and clean. Palate is also light and clean with decent hopping, good fruity maltiness, and a crisp finish. A very sessionable but not terribly complex bitter.

Bottle at PPSG. Accourding to my trusty over the top RB rating and tasting sheet: For aroma I circled bread and very light in terms of hop aroma, pine, orange/citrus flowers

JoeMcPhee (9549) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2009
Very pale golden beer. Very fresh crackery malt aroma. Light wheaty/spicy notes. Flavour also shows a very clean, crisp malt base with a touch of pleasant fruity estery character. Clean, well-balanced and easy to drink... just what you want in a bitter.

LilBeerDoctor (4193) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2009
Bottle at PPRBSG09. Pours a clear deep yellow with a small head. Aroma of grassy hops, sweet fruits, and pale malts. Flavor of sweet pale and toasted malts, with more sweetness in the finish. Decent bitter. 6/4/7/4/14 (3.5/5)

(PPSG09, 1L bottle, thanks JoeMcPhee) Clear apple juice body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, apricot, bread. Taste is modeately sweet, apricot, some bread, spice. Light-medium body, light resin.

beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - JUN 1, 2009
Large ceramic swing-top bottle I believe was brought by JoeMcPhee. Pours a slightly hazed light gold with a linen white head. Mild aroma of citrus and grain. Flavor is a bit more distinct than the aroma with moderate grain and light bitterness at the finish. I believe this is my first B.C. rating!

3.3
PilsnerPeter (3050) - Flushing, New York, USA - JUN 1, 2009
Fizzy light golden with a white head. Biscuity crackery aroma- fizzy feel, a bit thin feeling. Dry flavor with a lightly crackery background and mild bread crust notes. Simple, but nice and dry throughout.

3.1
yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - JUN 1, 2009
Light hazy yellow pour with a small head. Aroma is some citrus hops and light earthy spice and grain. Taste is pine and citrus but overall a bit light.

2.9
j12601 (13099) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 31, 2009
Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium white head. Smells of lager style grain and a bit of hops. More grain on a medium body. Bitter, tannic, lightly quinine like, but with no grapefruit character.

Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAY 31, 2009
1L swing top. Pours a pale golden body with a thin head. Bitter grain and light floral hops and some light cheese. Okay.
