Hazy red-amber color, with a giant compact head. The aroma is just a bit sourish, maybe something’s wrong here. Caramel flavor, with correct bitterness, and just a light metallic touch. Plain, maybe off, although purchased just one month ago.

Bottle 100cl. w. swing top @ [ Tasting by fiulijn ].
Light unclear medium amber colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity - berry notes, light leather - wood, funky notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, wood - leather bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft and fizzy.
Bottled. A dark amber beer with a huge beige head, over cabonated seemingly infected. the aroma has notes of cruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with is sweet with notes of malt, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light. Thanks fiulijn for sharing. joergen (28991) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 17, 2011
Bottle at Alex.
Hazy orange-red coloured with a huge off-white head.
Sweet aroma of caramel, dried fruits, bread and hops with notes of berries.
Sweet flavour of caramel, dried fruits, bread and hops.
Hoppy finish. reebtogi (6350) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 31, 2011
1 litre swingtop bottle poured a deep amber color with big white head and some fine lacing. Aroma is caramel and some floral hops. Taste is malty sweet countered with some mild hop bitterness. Needs a little more hops for a better balance. But, overall this is a big malty red ale with full flavors and is a pleasure to drink occasionally.

Dark red amber, nice head. Malty caramel aroma, sweet caramel malty taste... needs more hops to balance it out, but still enjoyable.

1L flip-top bottle. Pours a redidsh medium amber with a thick and lasting peral head. Earthy aroma. Tastes very malty - notes of caramel, bread, some chocolate, with a slight earthy hop bitterness. Finishes with a good malt taste, same earthy bitterness. This is a pretty good ’malty amber’ type beer, well worth future purchases... 1L flip-top, shared with Parksy and Dave. Bright copper, medium light beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel, hints of autumn leaves. Flavour is pretty straightforward caramel, with light earthy and nutty notes. Straightforward little amber-- just the style that pulled me away from lagers over 20 years ago, but now holds little appeal other than nostalgia. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 6, 2011
1L swingtop. Prototypical small Canadian craft amber. Malt, vanilla and metallic. Looks nice with a lasting head, lacing and red amber. Vanilla cream ale scent. Nice cream body but metallic edge brings the score down. Flavour that if they dropped column A and added column B would be great but instead a weird tree bark, amber and metallic. driver76 (40) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 28, 2010
Very Light but fragrant nose, slight flowers
Taste sharp hops up front, spicy malts give nice round flavour. Good light starter beer, basic but well done light red ale. (What Rickard’s Red wishes it was.)
