Draft sample. Pale gold in colour with a bit of haze and medium carbonation. Aromas are of coriander, citric hops, and a bit of wheat. Lemon and coriander notes blend with some reasonably fresh Centennial hop elements in the mouth, but are somewhat marred by a vegetal note. Medium bodied with a nice stinging bitterness. A solid white IPA, but that vegetal note (from the lemongrass perhaps) knocked it down a peg. Travlr (24286) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 2, 2014
Sample at Atlantic Beer Festival Moncton. Bright hazy straw color, medium white had. Nice aroma of fresh lemongrass. Taste is lightly bittersweet citrus. Tasty. BrewGoblin (632) - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - JUL 17, 2014
Since there is not a proper classification for this relatively new style, some folks might rate it as your typical IPA and under that title it will come up short. Itís a White IPA and it really is in a class of itís own. Unfiltered, it pours a hazy light gold with a frothy white head. Pine, citrus, caramel, honey, wheat, light spices and lemon readily greet the nasal passages. A smooth bitter start transitioning to a lightly sweet honey finish make this softly carbonated velvety smooth quaff a blast. Wow would have expected better scores for this brew. I guess people hate change. Poured a straw colour with lots of fun stuff floating around in my glass and had a frothy white head that lasted. Aroma was of pine, floral hops, citrus, and grass. Tastes of pine, lemon, caramel, floral hops, grass. Has a medium body with average carbonation and a nice lemon kick at the end. This beer was very fresh tasting and I could quaff the whole bottle or more. HeistAlmighty (1156) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 8, 2014
1L bottle. Lemon yellow, floaties like a snow globe. Tropical and sourdough bread aromas. Bitterness is quite intense, if feel the claim of 65 ibus on the bottle might be underplaying it a bit. Lemongrass offsets some of the bitterness, bit it could have used a stronger malt. Would be good with spicey Asian food.

Visual: Pours golden yellow-orange with a dissipating bubbly head, a thin layer of retention, sticky lacing, a few steady streams.
Nose: faint grapefruit hops, lemongrass, some fishiness. (lvl-3)-pungency
Attack: incoming sharp bitter hops
Mid-palate: (lvl-5)-sweetness, (MAIN) sweet malts, big bitter grapefruit peel hops, lemongrass overtones,
Finish: biting bitter hoppiness, lemongrass, (palate fatigue), lingering bitter hopped rough finish.
Summary: The lemongrass is definitely in there from mids to finish, but the hops are just way too sharp and heavy for me. An okay brew but really heavy on the palate just 1/4 way through. dreamflower (790) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 22, 2014
Glass on tap, shared with northropfrye. Creamy and lemony aroma and taste. The lemongrass really comes through. Nice lacing. Nice beer.

Light body some white head and lacing. Earthy muddy and some hops flavour. Not a tonne of flavour but some bitterness. Okay IPA. cards04 (2784) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 20, 2014
A really nice IPA. Aromas of lemon grass really come through nicely. Flavors of bubble gum, lemon, and bitter green hops. Nice lasting finish. Very good! jdobbs (411) - New Brunswick, CANADA - JUN 2, 2014
Nose brings out lemongrass, lemon zest, Belgian yeast, some coriander and piney hops. Flavour brings out spicy hops, Belgian yeast, lemon zest, and biscuity notes. Quite dry, spicy and grassy on the finish
