This is a really nice, balanced IPA. Pours a hazy amber with a foamy off-white head. Lots of sweet caramel malt aromas, along with some floral, citrusy hops aromas. Has a medium body with a medium-high level of carbonation, making it a nice refreshing brew. Has a nice malty sweetness that plays nicely with the pleasing amount of hop bitterness. Also as a homebrewer, I love the 1L swingtop it comes in.

A hazed amber ipa with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice fruity caramel malt with grassy floral hops, butterscotch notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice fruity caramel malt with British floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice butterscotch, well done. Cask Days 2014.

Sample at Atlantic Beer Festival Moncton. Clear golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma of caramel and light pine. Taste has pine, caramel, light citrus. OK.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2014 Not my fave IPA but not the worst either. Could hop it a notch or two. The devils elbow is surely hoppier than this.

Floral aroma, fresh taste. Moderate bitterness. Red in color. Lingering in finish. Moderate alcohol flavors, moderate-heavy mouth feel. Sweet and somewhat malty.

In my experience, when the Devil gets involved with something, it usually makes it more fun. Especially if that something is already fun to begin with. Bringing only his mildly devilish elbow to this beer, one must assume that he is a fan of sweet maltiness over outrageous hop presence. Which is fine by me since most IPAs that make vague Satanic reference would likely try to molest your tongue with hops. Bronze with an off white set of horns, lots of honey and caramel in the aroma teamed with citrus hops. Lightly sweet and a bitter finish on this slightly oily, mid carbonated demon.

I really enjoyed this malt forward IPA. Poured a Orange amber colour with a small head. Aroma was of pine, caramel, and toffees. Tasted of big caramel malt and toffee, but also got some lighter pine and resin flavour. Had a medium body with low carbonation and a weak bitter finish. Perfect for splitting with other brew dogs.

Bottle from Pacific Liquor: Created a fluffy layer of foam while the liquid was a golden blonde and had a ton of sediment floating about. In the nose, scents of honey and oats with a floral aroma of earthy hops with perhaps the slightest dash of spice. The flavor is heavy with a bitter taste of hops that release some notes of honey, pollen, dirt and sticky syrup like base of malts. This was a good drink and did keep my interest, but I doubt I would buy it again; however, the size of the bottle was the perfect amount to catch a buzz before bed time.

Pours a hazy golden red color with a large white head. Malt aroma, with some pine and eartyness and some tangerine. Taste is sweet with some good bitterness on the finish. Medium to full mouthfeel. Kind of a mild ipa not bad.

A malty aroma, good looking beer with a caramel colour and a thick creamy head. A bitter malty taste with a bitter malt palate.
