Rating #783 - Nov 26, 2013 - 1L swingtop from Coop in #yeg. Pours a hazy copper with a fairly frothy head. sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet, tangerine, meyer lemon, and mild sappy, resinous pine note.Taste is mild sweetness (citrusy, piney, floral) and a lingering bitterness - cookie dough, caramel malt character really brought out, and the sticky pine-tar, sappyness of the hops. A beautiful balanced beer that isn’t shy about its IBU. cards04 (2793) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - SEP 19, 2013
A nice ipa. Pours a hazy burnt orange with nice lacing. Aromas of honey and dank resin. Similar flavours with some hop bitterness... but not a tonne. downy_dav69 (60) - Ladysmith, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 18, 2013
Dominant pine taste with flashes of grapefruit and little malt sweetness. Very basic, kind of boring, but it does have a noticeable bite to it. Alanthebeerguy (213) - British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 15, 2013
A mellow IPA. The bitterness, more than anything makes it an IPA. Very much like a Pale Ale but with a bitter finish. True IPA lovers will be a little let down.
