Murky gold, large fluffy white head. Smells like toast and apple butter. Oddly sweet flavor, like raisin bread toast or something like that. Some bubble gum and banana, too. Not bad... bhensonb (15753) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 27, 2014
Liter fliptop from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark translucent gold with a huge creamy white head. Aroma is firmly clove and banana. Med + body. Flavor is tangy/strong banana and clove. Wow. Wonder what the Bavarians think of this! Finishing with very strong flavors. hstreet (71) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 7, 2013

1 litre bottle from LCBO. Love the resealable top. Pale hazy light amber with a nice off white head that fades quickly. Banana, wheat, some cloves, bit of alcohol. Sweet, mildish body, moderate carbonation, becomes a bit dry, alcohol on the finish, interesting. HeistAlmighty (1156) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - OCT 12, 2013
1L bottle. Pours a cloudy banana yellow, big shaving cream head. Orange and clove aroma. Taste is very full, sweet citrus and spice with some banana and wheat. Average body for the style. Overall, taste on this is pretty aggressive and bold, not bad but it prevents a certain accessibility.

(bottle) cloudy yellow-orange colour with a medium tall tan head; aromas of wheat, spice, later some metal; rich and balanced flavour - excellent Metalchopz (3529) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 30, 2013
An Imperial Hefeweizen... quite interesting. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a big warm cap that is bubbly and almost creamy, with decent retention and lots of sticky lace. Aromas of bananas with light wheat. Eventually, smells like rusty water with the hop they use. Average wet mouthfeel, medium-bodied, but all without the burn. The taste is milder, with the wheat and some sweetness. Hints of spices and bananas. A nice brew, but not sure a hefeweizen needs to have that much alcohol. Takes away the refreshment of this style. robinvboyer (4754) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2013
1L bottle from the LCBO. hazy copper pour, billowy, rocky white head. aroma is all cloves, and bananas, with quite a bit of yeast, and malted wheat. not surprising really, but everything seems to be much bolder than i would have expected. the flavor is all cloves, and wheat, with whisps of banana and bubblegum. the finish is light on the bitterness with a thick malted wheat after taste.
