Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Fruity, perfumy, yeasty. Rich body, sweet fruitiness, some coriander also I think? Very yeasty quite some alcohol heat. 200912

Pours a amber colour with a thin head which leaves a nice lacing around the glass. strong Belgian yeast aroma light fruity banana. Flavour has a bit of a bite a bit of an alcohol and spice mostly and fairly bitter finish. overall good but not their best beer

fiulijn (20491) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 26, 2012
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy light amber color. Mild aroma of banana and bubblegum. Strong mouthfeel, the malt flavor is indistinct, it’s sweetish, with some wheat and banana presence, and just too much bitterness in the end.
Not very pleasant.

Hooker (467) - Coquitlam, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2012
Slightly hazy orange amber colour with rocky fast fading off white head. Mild yeasty malt nose with spiceyness and slight banana. Strong spice (clove and corriander) and banana staste with strong spicey and soft malt finish. Some warming alcohol ending.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a cloudy golden / murky orange with a small white head. Aroma of soft Belgian spices, some light fruitiness (banana comes to mind), and light pale malt. Flavour brings out banana and clove above anything, with some Belgian spices, yeast and a soft malt backbone. Quite enjoyable and highly drinkable with no hint of the raised ABV.
