not bad, but not great either. not too strong a hops taste, so it goes down pretty easy. good IPA for someone looking to see what a real non-Keith’s IPA should taste like. Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 29, 2013
Looks like a nice pint, deep amber creamy of white crown floating on top. Aroma is hidden... pint might have poured to cold. Sweet fuzzy peach candy is about all I get out of the nose....... so very mild. Flavour has a large sweetness to it, peach but not, melon but not, not honey, almost bubble gum. Lively carbonation. Very well balanced..... almost to balanced I WANT MORE HOPS DAMMIT. Drinks like a APA not a IIPA. Dusty dry finish. Whats holding this beer back. Completly drinkable boring IIPA. gramity (1638) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 16, 2013
Pours an opaque dark brown, nearly black. Enormous dense surging creamy tan head, tons of suds, dense sheets of lace, just an absolutely gorgeous beer to look at. Nice rich mango and grapefruit nose, fruity and acidic both. Creamy medium body, almost thick, with lively carb. Toast, caramel, nuts, pine, and grapefruit on the mid-palate. Very pleasant, refreshing, and drinkable, if not a startling revelation. Nice crisp piney finish. Thoroughly well-executed DIPA BeerandBlues2 (13210) - Escondido, California, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Tap at Craft Beer Market. Pours hazy amber with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus, and resin hops, caramel and cookie malt, pear, apple, and cherry esters. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, supporting sweet malt, light fruity esters, and a dry finish. Full body and medium carbonation. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - FEB 7, 2013

[4730-20120818] Growler. Lightly smoked tangerine rind hops aroma. Hazy, dark orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Bitter grainy orange pip flavour. Medium-full boozy body. Interesting to sample. (7/4/6/3/13) 3.3

Dark amber pour out of a huge weird bottle. Crazy hoppy and malty taste. Huge palate. This is a monster. Thought it would be higher ABV actually. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 12, 2012
In short: A juicy fruity IPA. Ordinary.AWISLguy (3046) - Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2012
How: Big ass bottle shared by Camping Brewdown 2012.
The look: Cloudy dark amber body topped by a small beige head with good retention.
In long: Nose is soft fruity and floral hops, soft enough to let the malt sweetness pierce through the aroma. Smell of apricots, candied apples, other fruits, flower leafs. Taste is sweet mangos, mcintosh apples, citrusy hops, resinous notes. Not much caramel/honey sweetness, here the sweetness is really sweet fruits, borderline canned fruits. Mild-medium bitterness intensity. Strong juicy sensation. Not refreshing. Nothing bad per say, just not my type of IPA. Apparently the Howe Sound brewer wanted to call this beer “Colorful Rainbow Over Celine Dion” but the marketing guy said the name wasn’t gay enough.
8oz sample at the Taphouse Grill. Pours a reddish orange with an off-white head. Aroma has caramel, floral hops and something metallic. Taste is of sweet caramel, resin and some woodiness. Finishes sweet and not very smooth. The metallic nose is a bit off-putting. That is what I get having a bartender who looks like Russell Crowe talk me into a brew.
