Bottle. Pours reddish amber with off white head. Nose and taste of resin, grapefruit, burnt toast and grain. A touch harsh in the bitterness in finish. Medium body. bhensonb (15094) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 26, 2011
1L swingtop from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy copper with a creamy bubbling off-white/beige head. Aromas of light roast malt and floral hop. Med+ body with foamy carbonation. It has a dash of sweet that is quickly overwhelmed by a godawful amount of hop. Got hop burn. Hop seems floral/spicey with some fruitiness. Finish is burning bitter with enough malt tagging along to support it all. This is really tasty stuff. After awhile my mouth got hop fatigue, and it was going pretty smooth. Not harsh at all. Bottle - Sweet, caramel, grain and lots of hops on the nose. Nice clear amber with a thick off white head. Bitterness right at the start to the very end. You can taste the hops throughout with a bit of grain and grapefruit. Really over the top, to the point where there is no subtle tastes. A good beer, not a great one. Bottle shared at a tasting. Pours orange with big chunks, large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, toffee, citrus, tropical fruit. The taste is bitter astringent hops and pale malt. Medium bodied, off balance and kind of all over the place. BeerandBlues2 (13213) - Escondido, California, USA - MAY 10, 2013

Aroma is pine, citrus, and resin hops, caramel and cookie malt, pear, apple, and cherry esters. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, supporting sweet malt, light fruity esters, and a dry finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

Understated bitterness, less strictly than the style still very enjoyable. Worth a try. Hoppy aromas. Copper to mahogoney body, tiny head, yet with a lace sheet. Orange simcoe flavours, a little fruity, a little boozy, average mouthfeel.

Had this at the Campground Brewdown. Pours a mostly clear amber to ruby color with a thin to medium bodied white head. Sweet malt and toast, light hops. Malt, earthy sweet and lightly oxidized. Malt, toast, dark fruit. Earthy malt, sweet into earthiness, pungent bitterness. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 31, 2012
2012-08-18. Dark orange body with a small beige head. 3+ Hoppy aroma, muted muddled citrus, leafy hops. Flavour is similar, modest citrusy hops and leafy green hop character. 7+ Average palate. Okay, I assume the hops are a little more robust when consumed closer to home. Bottle, Campground Brewdown 2012 our bottle, LCBO private order
