Giant lfip top bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada vie Coop. Hazy auburn colour. Off white head. Resin-passionfruit aroma. Full body. Bright hop finish. VertBaconStrips (2389) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - JUN 3, 2010
Excellent look - big thick tan cap with great retention, Guinness-like lacing, deep orange / red with lots of suspended flecks. There are tons of sweet citrus, resin, ruby red grapefruit and cotton candy from hops and it comes across fairly fresh as well. Taste wise this is an absolute raping by hops. My taste buds are taking a well deserved "Williams Beat down"(old old skool youtube vid of a black chick beating the hell out of some dude real good). Man, just a shit load of hops - damn! I’m so down with this. The malts don’t balance this at all and I could care less. Semi-sweet caramel holds out when warmer. There is some hop heat as well.. actually, lots of it. Resin, raisins, grapefruit. Thick middle, just a massive hop atomic bomb. F’n A! Permanent hop destruction. 1L of bitter medicine. Fred82 (2324) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 6, 2012
1L bottle brought back by my brother.barncatmatt (2286) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 19, 2012
Appearance : Slightly hazy amber with medium foamy and creamy head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Resinous and piny hops with caramel malt. Light bready notes.
Taste : Piny and citrusy with caramel. Resinous. Nice citrusy and piny notes but a bit hidden by the caramel.
Overall : A bit heavy on the caramel for my taste. A bit heavy overall. Not enough aromatics for me to match the grain bill. Still well done and enjoyable.

Sampled at Howe Sound. Hazy amber with a thin beige head. Very weak peach aroma. Surprisingly light taste, some booze, not much malt or citrus, high IBUs. Medium-full body. Very unexciting Imperial IPA. Lagerboy (2206) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 14, 2011
UPDATED: APR 20, 2012 Eclipse of the Hop?!? Au contraire, this bad boy is nothing but hop... six varieties, no less. Zesty, herbal, grassy, piney, floral and citrusy, lots of overlapping sensations in this one... though if a Lagerboy such as I can put away a whole litre, it’s probally an IPA Light for all you hardcore hopheads, eh? LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary) dfearnley (2143) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 28, 2012
Poured from a slightly chilled 1L bottle into a pint glass.
Biggest aroma here is caramel followed by a sweet maltiness. I sense a little bit of floral notes too. Pours to a slightly cloudy light amber colour with an ample head and nice lacing. Initially, it seems a bit watery but that went away after a few sips. This IPA has a well balanced hop/malt profile and a nice bitter finish. All in all a decent IPA, but not spectacular. I could see the being a nice session beer. Enniskillen (2055) - Bakersfield, California, USA - SEP 7, 2008
Amber with a loose head. Aroma is a light hoppiness, pine, floral & soap with a light honey sweetness. Taste is soapy with citrus, hops, and light caramel.
