Draft - Sweet caramel notes with a bit of a nutty note. Clear copper with a nice beige head. Caramel and light bitter notes. Quite nice, more like an ESB. Oakes (19549) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2015
A recreation of BC’s first modern craft beer, Horseshoe Bay Ale (circa 1982). Golden-amber. Toasty amber, classic style, sweetish, off-dry finish. It’s mostly worth trying for the history, because obviously the beer landscape has evolved quite a bit since 1982. pictoman (1260) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 26, 2014
Poured from the tap at the brewery. Clear, orangey brown with off white head. Caramel and bready English malt, subtle hops at the finish. Simple, but fairly decent. Lagerboy (2239) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 10, 2014
