375ml bottle pours a deep amber color with quite a generous head (about a finger and a half) for a the style, leaving some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is grains with some grapefruit and herbs. Taste is a grapefruit and herbal bitterness with a bold malty sweetness. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Definitely, fits the style and is quite tasty and recommended. tom10101 (6082) - Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2013
Bottle (341 ml). 2011 vintage. From Simon, thanks! Slightly hazy copper with a small beige head and little to no lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, fruits, light oxidation notes and light spices. Taste is moderately sweet with caramel, brown sugar, fruits, light spices, light port-like notes and light tobacco. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium body. Low to moderate carbonation. Good balance. Fairly complex. Exactly what I’m looking for in a Barley Wine. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - OCT 12, 2012
Slightly hazy, copper body and creamy beige head. Delicate woody concentrated fruit flavours, malty base, well developed. Well developed taste as well and very tasty. Not the most powerful but very balanced and nice. (33cl bottle at MrHangover’s tasting) JulienHuxley (5806) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 30, 2016

Bottle courtesy of and shared with omhper who got it from fiulijn (thanks guys!). Dark mist amber body. No head. Perfumey orange-jaffa cakes malty nose, not overbearing, not a trace of alcohol. Slightly soapy orangey hoppy notes dominate, light bitterness. Slighty warming, but not cloying at all, a huge plus. Really drinkable, nice!

(375 ml. 10.5%.
375ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy brown with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of lots of toffee and caramel and toasted malts, some bitterness from the hops, some dough, and hints of alcohol. Flavor the same, with the malts more prominent and smoother as it warms up. Smoother texture. A solid barley wine. CapFlu (5127) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 13, 2012
(341ml bottle) Purchased at Liquor Plus Douglas in Victoria for $5.99. Pours a lightly frothy almond colored head atop a deep reddish body. Nose is nicely smoked with toffee and cantaloup in the rear. Very warm and inviting - not to mention how well the alcohol is hidden. Fruity: figs, bruised peaches and melon lead with smooth vanilla and diluted bourbon chaser. Very impressive and nice size format, I’ve finding it difficult to stomach a barleywine bomber so this 12oz is perfect.

Bottle at RBWG 2016 nose is lightly anise and dried fruit. Some lactic r notes it seems. Taste is lightly roasty. With a hint of licorice. Interesting. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 28, 2016
Bottle shared at RBWG: Poured a brown with a tan colored head. Aroma is weird mix of malts and spice. Taste is malty with candy sugar and sticky on the tongue.
