(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 28 Nov 2014) Reddish amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with caramel, orange peel, grapefruit and a touch of resin. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, caramel and a generous resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and tasty with a generous hop presence. Nice one. Cask at the Cock. It pours lightly hazy amber with a decent beige head. The nose is bitter-sweet, juicy fruits, oily, stewed orange and light toffee. The taste is bitter-sweet, wood, resin, leather, stewed orange, grapefruit, mild astringency and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Oily mouth-feel. Cask at the Cock. Citrus and toast nose, body is roast malt and lightly toffee-sweet, touches of Seville orange and burnt Demerara. Dry-sweet finish with a light burnt-bitter edge.

Cask at the cock tavern. Mid amber orange coloured pour with almost no head. Aroma is sweet toffee, nutty malts, dried fruit and a splash of orange. Flavour is smooth toffee, some earthy wood, woodland berries. Little bit of rubber and piney hop. Palate is medium sweet, low cask carbonation. Lingering berry fruit and piney hop. [ Trade by Madmitch76 ]. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, dusty hops, orange - citrus, light grapefruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, dusty, hoppy, dry grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
