Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Sweet, soughy malts in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with some dry biscuits, light orange rind, hints of grass. Light bodied with fine, prickly carbonation. Light swet finish, hints of earthy pine, doughy bread, light citrus. Good beer.

Cask at the Brewpub. Almost clear gold beer, residual white head. Light palate, semi dry with mild carbonation. Light citric bitterness - grapefruit - lemo. Touch of floralness. Crisp dry finish with a good bitter linger. Light and refreshing but Duchess is not a ’wow’ hop, but hats off to Howling Hops for showcasing it.
