[10/4/13] Cask at Cock Tavern (Hackney) in London. Clear deep golden. Aroma of creamed corn and a bit of hoppiness. Flavor has a bit of malt sweetness, some DMS , mild hoppiness and a mildly bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. So-so. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 26, 2013

At the brewpub. Noted as new batch US hops on the pumpclip and at 4.5%, Light hazy amber beer, small off white head. Palate is softish with moderate fine carbonation. Surprisingly sweet start (or maybe it’s in contrast to the aggressive American Light). Nice red berry fruits - slightly candy. Keeps going through the mid where more traditional marmalade bitterness kicks in. Finishes smooth and sweet. Very drinkable.
Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours clear amber-gold with a slight, white foam head. Nice ripe citrus nose, pine. Light to medium sweet flavor with good and piney bitterness, grass, orange. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sticky, resinous finish, good pine, more orange, some grapefruit. Nice, fresh hoppy character. jackl (8423) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 16, 2013
Draught @ The Cock Tavern. The pour’s medium amber with a small white head. The nose is fresh, earthy hops. Some resin. Sweet fruits (peach, berry). The taste is moderately bitter. Green shoots, more sweet fruit salad. Lightly cheesy. Dry finish. Light body, easy to drink. Overall, solid stuff.
