Bottle at The Bottle Shop Canterbury. That’s a good pale ale. Lovely tangerine full in mouth. Lovely pale ale. Bit harsh. But good. Borresteijn (7057) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 14, 2013
33cl Bottle, thanks Harmen! Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma is something different, odd but nice combination of tropical fruits, citrus, grass, grapes, fruity acidity. Flavour is light-sweet, light pale malts, tropical fruits, light fruity tart/acidity, citrus, light pine, dry bitter finish. Light-bodied. Nice, different. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2013

Keg at the Cock Tavern. Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Palate is smooth and soft and a little dry. A sweetish beer! Sweet floral and pine hops with light orange and orange pith. Something else fruity here that I am struggling to pin down. Possibly grape. Finishes dry with medium bitter linger. Good stuff. Packed full of flavour in a low abv beer!
Bottle at home in London. Pours mostly clear gold with a small, frothy white cap. The aroma has what I’ve come to think of as pretty typical for Howling Hops: plenty of rugged pine, some earth, sturdy grapefruit - it’s nice. Light sweet flavor with some dried pine needles, definitely some dry and gritty yeast, lightly toasted malts, grapefruit rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish with hefty dose of pithy citrus, some further mouth-drying yeast, pine needles, light sweetness. For a low ABV beer it’s pretty nice and packs a decent amount of character. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 22, 2013
Keg @ The Cock Tavern. The pour’s a light gold color with a small, creamy white head. Attractive appearance. The nose is light lemon cake, citrus fruits. Notes of poppy seed muffins. Mild cat piss and floral countryside meadow. The taste is mildly bitter citrus fruits. Lemon rind and oranges. Slightly doughy flavors. Some chalky cheese on the light, dry finish. Mineral. Sweet cantaloupe fruit salad. Light body, zippy mouthfeel. Overall, a very solid beer. Good flavor, nice economy.
