(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 23 Apr 2015) Pale yellow colour with brief, foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grass, citrus and grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of lemon, grapefruit, grass, biscuits and a generous citric bitterness in a dry finish. Light body, quite dry. Possibly a bit thin, but fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Cask at the cock. Pale yellow / straw coloured pour with a light haze and a lasting loose white head. Aroma is earthy grains, hay, with zesty citrus lemon. Some spicy hop matter on the nose as well. Flavour is light earthy grains, tannic straw, bitter lemon, grassy, little Hawthorne. Aggressive grapefruit hop bitterness. Really packs in the hop flavour for the abv. Little vanilla. Palate is light, grainy, moderate cask condition. Bit rustic and rough round the edges but packs a good hoppy punch.
