3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at the Southampton Arms on 27th November 2012. Hazy amber with quick-to-die off white laceless head. Yeasty, earthy aroma. Gentle citric tang in-mouth with soft herbiness. Bayleaf notes. Finish carries the same flavour points and becomes increasingly bitter. Zingy mouthfeel; fairly chunky body.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, creamy head. Aroma holds some floral grass and ripe citrus. Light sweet flavor, quite fruity, with modest grassy bitterness, orange, dry lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild grassy hop finish with light sweat, orange, papaya, pine, touches of earth. Lightly resinous. Great condition. I think this is excellent. Great balance and depth. Superb session beer.
