Bottle, shared at game night. Medium golden body, average white head. Sweet raw cereal, vague fruity notes, mild bitterness. Calls to mind an amateurish home brew attempt... UXO (1896) - CANADA - APR 28, 2017
Appearance: clear deep gold with two fingers of fluffy ivory head, good retention and moderate lacing. (3/5) Aroma: grainy caramel, weedy and grassy hops, earth. (4/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (4/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, medium bitter finish. (3/5)
Well, that’s disappointing. Deeply so: a malty mess with minimal hop character. I dunno how the brewer thinks this qualifies as a “Pacific Northwest Ale”, but this is an EPA at best, and actually more like an ESB. I actually considered sink pouring this, but the fact is, it’s not actually nasty, just not what it claims to be. Bad brewer! No cookie for you! (9/20)

650ml brown bottle. Golden, small white head. Nose is grainy with citrus. Taste - caramel with citrus. Some orange peels in the finish. Pretty basic, drinkable but nothing exciting going on. Ferris (16268) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 24, 2016
Bottle - Grains and earthy hops. Clear gold with a nice white head. Light sweet grains with a touch of earthy hops and bitternes. DeanF (2514) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 14, 2016
Slow ride, take it easy! Er sumpthin. Okay head, okay orange body. Hoppy aroma with plenty of malt, balanced kinda, not exciting but at least it’s there. Flavour is plenty of hops with amber cherry notes of malts on the back end. Missing a bit of sharpness that one might expect from an APA. Almost like a fruity ester thang goin on. Not sure if I like it as much as Life cereal.

Bottle from brewery. Pours into shaker pint glass. Biscuit and milt malts with a bit of German hops. It's fine but nothing special. mcberko (18556) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 18, 2016
650mL bottle, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is dry and crisp, with dry crackery malt and light piney hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle piney hops and dry crackery malt in good balance. Nothing overly special, but it’s well-balanced. Very good. Oink. Out of the bottle and into the glass and into my mouth and mouth hard-on happens. After warming happiness is farther away but still within reach. Thickly malty, the massive hop smash faded correctly. Biscuit, less sweet caramel, hops have seemed to almost vanish. wtf. should have destroyed this when it was cold. Dulled down but retains really good flavour. I’m falling asleep. rejtable (2818) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 7, 2015
Pours clear amber limited head and no lacing. Nose is sweet fruit. Flavours of sweet malt, some cereal, some earthy bitterness. Taste light sweet light/medium bitter. Med sticky body with lively carbonation. jonas (7985) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 4, 2015
Bottle. dark golden, fine carbonation, big lacing foamy head. Light minerally caramel/crystal malt nose with slightly earthy and herbal hops.
Medium light body, mellow chewy mouthfeel. Sparkly dry on the palate. ESB with a very light modern world touch.
