Great typical lager taste, light wheat nose. Slight skunky bitters taste but not overly. Pretty thick sticky palate. Foam tastes like mustard
Dark straw. Diminishing white head. Corn, grain and pine aromas. Dish water comes to mind. Floor cleaner and grains. 12/10

Pours a cloudy golden yellow color. Poured extremely foamy for some reason. Scent is mostly of malts and grains giving it an almost sour scent. Has a very dry taste due to the yeast. There must be a decent amount of yeast in the beer because well after pouring I’m still seeing carbonation shooting to the top. Rather crisp and clean tasting but not too flavorful. Certainly drinkable but has room for improvement. Patrickctenchi (6586) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Huge white head....over hazy yellow-gold body.
Scent is grain...lemon-lime.
Taste is herbal sweet, malty.
Almost like a tart cream ale.
Grassy, herbal bitter...thin and weak.
Below average. Brigadier (3680) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2012

If this is indicative of the quality of most Hub City beers then I don’t think I will be picking up any more unless it is to fill out a mix six pack. Boring and predictable this is a subpar pale ale that wasn’t even worth the $1.89 price tag.
Aroma / Appearance - The gushing white head was the first sign this was slightly off. Finally a bronze transparent base formed that was generic and somewhat uninteresting after an initial glance. The nose was grainy with hints of lime tossed into an average lawnmower beer.
Flavor / Palate - Corn chips marinated in a stew accented by dry handfuls of half dead grass aren’t that appealing after a couple of sips. Mercifully it fades very quickly. This is the sort of beer that feels phoned in.
Straw yellow with a chicken soup look to it and a mammoth mound of shaving cream on top and foamy lacing. Aroma of mega grains, sour and sweet malt, not the most inviting start. Malted and sweet it has a very weird consistency and not much else going on. Onslow (1495) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - SEP 29, 2011
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Slightly cloudy pale yellow brew with small white head. Aroma of corn and a little adjunt. Taste is very light grains at the start of the swallow with a little grassy bitter in the finish. Hints of vegtal flavors and a little citrus manifest in a rather unpleasant finish. Variety 6 pack from Sullivan’s, Princeton, IL. Pours a little more golden or brassy than the average plain beer. Short, fizzy head supported by a steady stream of bubbles. But kind of hazy for a beer that shouldn’t be. Smell is a trifle oxidized. Taste starts with a bit of all malt, but winds up with some phenol. Despite having been picked up in the store’s cooler, I wonder if it might be old. I’m all for supporting beers in my home state, but these folks need to work out their QC. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JUL 25, 2011
Bottle. Light malt and citrus aroma. Yellow with a small white head. Malt flavor with a faint pine hops bitterness. Light bodied. Pleasant light brew.
