"Snowbunny Ale exhibits pleasant notes of caramel with a heady vanilla nose which play against a creamy background. Enjoy it on its own or after a meal for the perfect dessert."

From the brewery, "It’s brewed with 2 Row and a large portion of wheat, paired with a few additional specialty grains. Lactose is added during the boil to help give it a creamy character and the beer is aged on Tahitian vanilla beans in secondary."

Hard to define aroma, almost like a bitter. The flavor is very much dominated by the vanilla and not much else other than a slight bitter flavor. Not horrible but not very good.

12oz bottle. Amber-orange, somewhat murky. Head fades out quickly, leaving a thin oily residue. Mild vanilla laced malt aroma. As with most Hub City offerings, the carbonation and mouthfeel is off, making me think the bottling set up is sub-par. This is actually a really easy going Cream Ale, maybe a little darker than I associate with the style. Vanilla smooths out an already straightforward beer. A great dessert beer.

Hazy copper color with a thin fizzy head. The aroma and taste are more or less dominated by the vanilla. There’s a hint of caramel in the flavor and the body is moderately malty.

On Tap at Emassy Suites Airport MSP. I was not fan but my wife loved it. Too much vanilla and creaminess for my liking.

You wanna homebrew? Take one cup rootbeer and one cup water. Mix thoroughly. Chill and serve....Shit that probably tastes better than this brew. HORRIBLE! I don’t understand what the deal is. There is no way Im getting heathly brews from them. I vow to retry all their beers in the future. But as for now, this is one of the worst breweries I have experienced. It baffles me really.

Poured a dark amber color with almost no head at all. This had a very artifical and overpowering vanilla aroma and taste to it. It was actually quite repulsive. I had high hopes for this one when I pulled it off the shelf and saw the babe in the sexy outfit but I was totally let down by this one.

CanIHave4Beers (4273) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - FEB 3, 2011
Pours a hazy pale orange with a very small loose head. The aroma is lots of vanilla and some fruity pear like notes with no noticeable infection, now I shouldn’t have to note this but from these cats no news is good news in the infection department. The flavor is similarly clean with a weird mix of the melted ice cubes formerly cooling a glass of bourbon and straight forward vanilla. Bits of fruitiness peak in, and the sweetness is moderate. It’s really not half bad.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2010 Bottle. A - Slightly dark caramel color with a very small foamy white head. Disappears fast leaving behind no lace. S - Not much in the aroma here. Sweet caramel dominates what is there. Sweet and slightly malty aroma. T - Taste is pretty much just caramel/butterscotch type of flavor. There is some off flavor as well that reminds me a bit of chapstick. Was searching for the vanilla, but couldn’t really find any. M - Light body with little carbonation. Flat, slightly smooth, and slight sticky/coating feel at the finish. D - Don’t really want to have another, it was pretty bland and uninspiring. Notes: Not a big fan of this beer. It was bland and had a slightly off flavor. Didn’t really fit any style nicely either. Probably won’t be picking this up again.

Cheap tasting golden colored ale. Vanilla notes are present, but seem very artificial. I drank a few sips and had to introduce it to my drain.

amishcaravan (247) - Winona, Minnesota, USA - NOV 27, 2010
Pours a cloudy brown color. Kind of looks like apple cider. Thin head that disappears quickly. Scent is of mild vanilla. Taste consists of strong vanilla and little else. A little nutty. Lasting vanilla finish. Decent beer but it does taste like the vanilla is used to cover up the taste of cheap beer.
