Drinked in bottle. At the nose is quite spiced or at least, less full than the other weizen. Hints of cloves and mature banana. In mouth I was personally impressed by freshness and spiciness, very drinkable. low carbonated. A funny and very enjoyable spicy bitterness and a fresh fruitiness before the malted finish. Liked it

From a groupon mystery case of 24. 500ml can stated 5.6% not 5.4%. Wheat beer , pours hazy with an initial creamy head that soon disappears to a thin head. Smooth taste. No hop taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My Bottom Line:
Banana, cloves and mineral notes thrive within this Weissbier’s prickly mouthfeel, building a textbook rendition of the style.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam sits atop the shiny blond white haze.
-Mouthfeel isn’t as cushy as a Weihenstephan or Friedenfels Weissbier, but it is quite competent nonetheless.
-Drinkability is quite high.
-Carbonation is as high as it is supposed to be.
-Wheat contributes a few doughy subtleties underneath the fermentation character.

On tap at the Hüber restaurant in Freising.

Nose is bananas with a touch of clove. Taste is heavy ripe banana ends with lemon and german hop metallic taste. Appearance is slight haze on a bright orange, with a decent thick lace. Pretty good, not the best but above average and true to style.

AgentAle (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 20, 2016
Aroma is sweet grains, bananas, clove and light citrus. Taste is gentle light sweet malts, honey, caramel and a well balanced citrus bitterness. Finishes with slight tart that is minor. Appearance is a hazy gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

500 ml can poured into a weizen glass. The beer is a hazy copper with a big white head of foam. The aroma is yeasty with notes of coriander and honeycomb. Sweet and yeasty in taste. A bit of orange starts to come through as the beer approaches room temperature. Medium body and medium carbonation. Velvety mouthfeel. Pretty damn good hefeweizen.
