Bottle from Birmingham Beer Festival. Dense, stocky head, coupled with an attractive luminous yellow colour. Slightly medicinal tartness, over a breakfast cereal wheatiness, complete with the milk. Slightly glutinous mouthfeel, smooth and sweet. Usual clove, bubblegum and banana, and a slightly sour finish. Tasty, but doesn’t quite reach the pinnacle.

Bottle. Love the Huber Weisse. First of all, i like the Polar Bear on the label, very cool. This is quite a yeasty, salty weisse. Clove and banana and wheaty (duh).. Soft, yet quite a rich flavour. Softer than most, yet fuller in flavour. This is a great wheat beer.

Wheat in the nose and flavour. Golden orange colour with a good amount of head and lacing on the glass. Mildly spicy with hints of citrus. not bad overall.

Dark wheat beer with a banana aroma and flavour. A different type of wheat beer, but very good and refreshing.

Bov (13442) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 8, 2002
cloudy dark orange colour, big head, nice lace, wheat and grapefruit in the nose, lot of carbonation, smooth and sweet with a long dry fruity (banana, grapefruit) finish

Pale orange and hazy. Restrained banana aroma. Malty and dry. Clean finish with only some esteryness. A tasty dry and restrained weizen.

rauchbier (3956) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2002
Hazy lemon-orange with a huge thick creamy rocky head. Condition is much lower than most bottled weissbiers. Big fruity banana nose with yeast and phenols. More banan in the mouth along with a pleasing fruity esteriness. Finish is soft sweet and chalky. From the same town as Weihenstephan and almost as good as its bigger neighbour.
