Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 7, 2014
Spicy aroma of banana and bubblegum, and the flavor is much the same, with some vanilla and peppermint as well. The beer is a darker yellow than many wheat beers, and not as cloudy. This beer is sweet, tart and tangy at once, and has a great prickle and sizzle from a medium weight body. Roundly enjoyed.

massingasetta (691) - Mnchen, GERMANY - MAY 10, 2014

jann3 (325) - Espoo, FINLAND - APR 9, 2014
Pours cloudy and deep yellow, almost orange. White creamy head. Aroma has notes of banana, wheat and clove. Taste is fruity with notes of banana and citrus, also some yeast, bread and clove. Well balanced and refreshing. Very good hefeweizen. (0,5 l bottle, best before 27 Jan 2015)

Erzengel (8174) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 23, 2014

Bottle, pours golden with a white head. Tastes of wheat and banana with a slight sour note - good balance and not overpowering. Good beer and worth a try.

Aroma: very wheaty. Appearance: cloudy pale gold, big frothy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: medium carbonation, some bitters coming up. Overall: decent wheat beer, nothing too extraordinary though. Bottle at the London Drinker Beer & Cider Festival.

bartlebier (3632) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 12, 2014
50cl bottle, bb 01/2105 from Sdstar FR. Bought because of appealing navy-blue label. Does everything a standard Bavarian Hefe does: bananashake, clove, marzipan wheat in the back, slight hop spice kick. Unpleasant aspartame paper finish, minus points for hop extract. Always a bit of a chore to finish these.
