Huge white head. Cloudy orange colour. Fantastic sweet and intense wheat aroma. Excellent fruity taste and a mild palate. Wheat beer at its best. seuinoz (260) - Glen Ellyn, Illinois, USA - NOV 11, 2015
Brewed on 07-01-15 exprires 09-01-16. Not a bad German Weisse beer. Hazy yellow color with a small flothy white head. Citrus tasting,no need for a lemon wedge in the beer( why ruin a good beer anyway). Sits well on the palate. Gehbe (469) - Vilnius, LITHUANIA - JUL 18, 2016
Pours cloudy golden, huge frothy white head.
Nose of lemon, banana, zest, spice, milk, wheat, yeast.
Tastes sourish with light sweetness and very light crispy bitterness on finish. Creamy and milky texture, crisp with high carbonation.
Lovely and refreshing. Saurononline (136) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAR 19, 2012
From a really small brewery in North Munich, one of the best Hefeweizen I’ve ever tried, really hard to find, but definitely worth the work... jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - OCT 10, 2001

Hazy lemon-orange with a huge thick creamy rocky head. Condition is much lower than most bottled weissbiers. Big fruity banana nose with yeast and phenols. More banan in the mouth along with a pleasing fruity esteriness. Finish is soft sweet and chalky. From the same town as Weihenstephan and almost as good as its bigger neighbour. Bottle. Hazy to cloudy golden colour with large, lasting head. Wheat and cloves in the aroma. Taste has cloves, banana and bubblegum in nice amounts, with some fruity ester. Some tartness in the finish. Nice full and frothy mouthfeel.
A very good Weisse indeed. BlackHaddock (8090) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2012
Third beer of my German tasting evening, 2nd July 2010. This brown half litre bottle was poured into one of my ’Franziskaner’ Weissbier glasses (the beer was best before 3rd Nov 2010).
This is one of the best Hefeweizen I’ve had, very impressed: The beer had a great cloudy body, leaning towards the orange side of dirty yellow, the cracking white head was a stayer, lasting to the last drop of beer.
The nose was all you’d expect, great waves of vanilla with banana esters following up behind, lovely. Nutmeg appeared in the mix too.
Refreshing and very drinkable, the usual hefeweizen flavours combining to produce a very good beer and one I’ll look out for in future.

Farbe: typisches trüb-gold ocker
Nase: am anfang wenig, leicht säuerliche Kellernote. Später kräftig brotig und Weizen. Und hm. Klee?
Klassisch rund lecker.
