Creedence (309) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 11, 2017
Draught with dinner at Zest. Pours a clear golden amber with a nice white head that recedes to a trace. Aroma is nice and sweet, honey and malt. Taste is similar, nicely rounded sweetness, little bitterness. Smooth carbonation and a full body. Great lager.

gyllenbock (9177) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 23, 2017
At Akkurat. Clear amber with a medium head. Medium sweet with malt, hops, some fruit and flowers. The body was around medium as was the bitterness.

MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 21, 2017
My Bottom Line:
Silky honey is topped with a fresh baguette crust before just enough herbal hop bitterness seals this well-rounded Helles Vollbier.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam laces nicely around the clear golden.
-Some minerals are found here and there.
-This is a very nice everyday quencher for pale malt lovers.
-That baguette crust character is amplified when the pint gets closer to room temperature.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Grass, lemon and lime in the aroma. Malty, bready and moderately sweet taste with biscuity malt, grain and citrus. Easy to drink and refreshing. The finish is rather bready.

JoeinDahlem (1521) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 14, 2016
Bottle poured into a Steinkrug. Very lightly hazed golden beer, mildly sweet with a dusty-earthy smack of bitterness and that Oberfranken-kellerbier-like mineral tang. In a classic mold and typically great for the region.

djoeye (4605) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 5, 2016
Almost headless, clear golden body. Aroma has malt, bread, grain, grass, fruit. Taste has malt, bread, caramel, sweet butter, grass, syrup - leading to a dark caramel bready finish. Soft on palate. Nice brew. [50cl.btl 5% BB180716]
