Alright, I purchased this brew at a nearby Krogers, and it is okay for a summer pils... just a bit of the German grainieness, but the malt and sweetness are there. Drjohnrock (805) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 8, 2012
From 12 ounce bottle purchased at The Party Source. Assertive aroma that’s like that of a pale lager but upped a couple of evolutionary notches, very large white head that slowly dissipated with fine lacing, medium gold hue, creamy texture, medium bittersweet flavor that’s refreshingly different from the usual pilsener sharpness, with the sweetness not cloying. A big step back in the right direction for the Hudepohl name after last fall’s somewhat disappointing oktoberfest. b3shine (8870) - Indiana, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a transparent gold with white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells doughy and pleasantly skunky. Tastes luke it smells wi a little hop bite. Average on the palate. Not bad for what it is. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 16, 2013
12oz bottle, from my local Kroger. Completely clear golden color. Thin whtie head, Few bits and short ropes of lace. Medium body. Smooth, sort of crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Good bready citrusy flavor. Lightly peppery. Moderate bitter. Light sweet. Solid, satisfying summer pils. Chudwick (3205) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JUN 15, 2012
12oz bottle [don’t know if I got the right brewer or not, since the name of the brewery on the label is "closed" according to RB] - pours clear gold with white head. Nose is yeast and corn. Definitely has that Hudy taste (much like the Amber). Flavor adds the expected hops for the style. Light to medium bodied with a dryish finish (it sure dried my lips). Tiny bit sweet but moderately bitter. A good summer drink: light and refreshing with more character than the typical American pale lager.

Bottle from Drjohnrock. Poured clear golden color with a medium frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium balanced finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

12 ounce bottle. Served in a pilsener glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy dark gold color with about a half inch off-white head. Head retention is decent, but there isn’t much lacing at all. The brew smells mostly like bready/grainy malt and some light apple and herbal hops. Taste is just like the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick and has low/moderate carbonation. It’s an OK brew overall, but it’s not like I was expecting much at $4.99 a 6-pack. At that price I’m not complaining! Onslow (1495) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Has that malt / floral hops aroma that seems to be characteristic of Morlein brews, which is not bad. Clear brew with white head, settles to a small but creamy head with good lacing. Taste is sweet malts, a little citrus and a little floral hops and slight degree of dryness in the finish. This is OK. shrubber85 (11390) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Bottle. Floral barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Corny barley malt and lightly bitter herbal hops flavor. Okay but more like a pale lager. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Pale gold with a small white head. Sweet barley malt and light herbal bitter flavor. Medium body and carbonation. Meh. Lagerish.
