UPDATED: NOV 28, 2017 Bottle from backlog notes circa 2012. Pours a clear yellow golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale grainy malts, grass, doughy, light floral, just not much character to do this again. phaleslu (10906) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 22, 2013
Rating found in notebook. 12 oz. bottle from Root Cellar. Pours a clear pale gold color with a finger of soft cream-colored head. The aroma is a bit skunky. Grass, pale and crackery malts, dead leaves, wet hay. Flavor follows the same lines, and also a bit skunked. May be a month or two past its prime. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a damp mouthfeel. Drinks like stadium beer through old tap lines. hopdog (13258) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2013
12oz bottle. Poured a clear golden/yellow color with a small sized head. Aromas and tastes of toasted/burnt grains with some dough. burg326 (5630) - Florida, USA - NOV 2, 2013
12 ounce bottle poured a light yellow color with aromas of dough, and light hops. Flavors are the same, basic beer, but better than a macro. Thanks Beau for the bottle. Onslow (1540) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Has that malt / floral hops aroma that seems to be characteristic of Morlein brews, which is not bad. Clear brew with white head, settles to a small but creamy head with good lacing. Taste is sweet malts, a little citrus and a little floral hops and slight degree of dryness in the finish. This is OK.

12oz bottle, from my local Kroger. Completely clear golden color. Thin whtie head, Few bits and short ropes of lace. Medium body. Smooth, sort of crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Good bready citrusy flavor. Lightly peppery. Moderate bitter. Light sweet. Solid, satisfying summer pils. bluejacket74 (1996) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - JUN 29, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Served in a pilsener glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy dark gold color with about a half inch off-white head. Head retention is decent, but there isn’t much lacing at all. The brew smells mostly like bready/grainy malt and some light apple and herbal hops. Taste is just like the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick and has low/moderate carbonation. It’s an OK brew overall, but it’s not like I was expecting much at $4.99 a 6-pack. At that price I’m not complaining! b3shine (9280) - Indiana, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a transparent gold with white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells doughy and pleasantly skunky. Tastes luke it smells wi a little hop bite. Average on the palate. Not bad for what it is. GnarlyGnome (673) - Fairfield, Ohio, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle: If you are a pilsner fan, this is good. Light, refreshing, a little bit of a hop note in the back of it, but nothing offensive. Good. Patrickctenchi (6811) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Hazy, lemon gold with a short white head.
Scent is grainy, herbal.
Taste is malt, barley, herbal hops.
Very weak, watery bitter.
