It’s not offensive like some light lagers, but it’s not that good either. Very yellow, no extremely bad aftertaste. jaymobrown (1845) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 11, 2010
Had this in a can at a bar in Chicago. Poured rather yellow. This is a macro-style lager: some bitterness, super easy to drink. It’s like a PBR in many respects. Even though it doesn’t have much to do with the beer itself, the logo on the can is awesomely retro. This is a tailgating beer, or a beer at a party. It’s not that bad, but not really great. Has that old school feeling from taste to appearance. wxman (1848) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2009
Pours a clear pale golden with a respectable white head that coats the glass. Aroma is boiled corn and hops. Taste is sweet malt and corn grits, but it is clean and refreshing. Pretty damn good for a standard American light beer. phaleslu (10668) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 8, 2009
12 oz. can from Keller’s IGA in Cincinnati. This one is probably only going to be available in the Cincinnati area and surrounding region. Formerly brewed by the local Hudepohl-Schoenling Company, this one is now outsourced, as that brewer is no longer in operation. Pours very, very pale yellow with big fizzy white head. Aroma is actually stronger than a lot of its American macro peers, with grain, malts, corn, and grass. Flavor follows suit, albeit watered down. Palate is as light as can be, and this one goes down smooth and easy. Good value, and cheaper than almost any other cheap beer around. If you’re going to binge drink cheap beer in Cincinnati, you might as well keep it local (well, sort of). Rynoplasty (700) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 29, 2009
Pours straw gold with a white head. Aroma is faint pale malt and maybe some corn. Flavor is very light, with mainly pale malt coming through. Not very good.

Bottle. Another typical American pale. Not much smell or taste. Watery with little feed corn flavor. Very little bittering hops. Barely drinkable. GMUcrew7 (577) - Mason, Ohio, USA - FEB 27, 2009
Possibly the lightest yellow pour I’ve seen, almost no head to speak of, looks almost like champagne (not to be confused with miller high life). Also almost no aroma, some sweet grain smells. Shocker, this beer is light in flavor too, again a little grain. This is one of the lightest beers I’ve had, but although it is light on everything (aroma, taste, alcohol, calories), it doesn’t taste bad, and that’s what you look for in a beer this cheap. No matter how cold I get this beer, it still smells and tastes like a hot Budweiser. osusenior22 (5) - USA - MAY 19, 2008 does not count
One of my favorite beers. Just a good light beer, with a nice taste. Very smooth. I’m a third generation fan of this beer. Just wish I could find it in more places. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2007
12oz bottle. Poured a light and clear yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of grains and light grass. Watery and thin body. Yuck.
