UPDATED: MAY 31, 2007 Bottle. Corn-barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Light bitterness up front with mild barley malt flavor. Seems to be about the same as it was when Hudepohl brewed it - tasted better at Riverfront Stadium.

Along with great taste and smoothness, Hudy has the best aftertaste of any beer I’ve ever had.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2004 The Delight is one of the best light beers I have had. For a light beer it has some flavor unlike the Big Three. Hudepohl knows how to serve Cincinnati.

This was a pleasant beer in that there were no offensive odors or flavors present. That may be short of a compliment, but cheap American lights are often metallic or "off-tasting." Hudy Delight served me well at the campfire this week after long days exploring the wilds of the Florida Panhandle. Very refreshing and quite smooth, although, as expected, nearly flavorless.

This is very near to perfection for a light beer. Decidedly the Best in my mind.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2009 I don’t care for light beers, but Hudy Delight is at least tolerable as a summer beer, albeit a low ABV one. ADDITIONAL INFO - Hudy Delight is now made at the Lion Brewery in Pennsylvania, and marketed by the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company. MORE ADDITIONAL INFO - This beer changed breweries to City Brewing, the maker of cheap stuff in cans, and this beer’s taste has suffered for it.

wonderful light beer that my grandfather introduced me to, was definitely worth the drink, nothing to rant and rave about, but just a great mellow light beer for the extreme heat of southern ohio

My favorite light beer. Great flavor & aroma. Color a bit on the pale side. Overall, the best light, hot-weather beer on the market.
