Cloudy chestnut. Rustic nose, but in a toasty kind of way. Has some farmy complexity. Very toasty character, almost burnt. Pretty cool, actually, as an assertive take on the concept. Finishing dry and abrasively toasty. TBone (17535) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2009

Nut brown color, small off-white head. Slightly toasted, caramelly and grassy nose. Toasted flavor, caramel malts, sticky toasted bitterness in the finish. Smooth aftertaste with some caramel and toasted maltyness. Pleasant dunkel MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2011
Draught at the brewpub as Bio Dunkel. Weak horse blanket aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. OK stable off-white head. The flavour is quite roasted with a bit more horse or perhaps just stable. Has a fruity hint as well, which I do not enjoy much, but all in all a flavourful and interesting beer.
