(bottle) clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of heavy manure and salted wheat, with lots of barnyard, some caramelized grain and powdered sugar. flavour is more straw and barnyard, very rustic, with a touch of grain and some floral hops in the light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Ritzn (2183) - GERMANY - DEC 19, 2017
Clear yellow. Aroma is lightstruck, hay malt, some peas, some wheat. Taste is not inspiring, some tart dust, more vegetables with a hint of murky sourness in the finish. Medium body, not enjoyable.

SinH4 (6896) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - DEC 19, 2017
Bottle. Clear yellow color with white head. Aroma is earthy, a touch buttery, cooked peas. Taste is dog food, peas, veggies, earthy. Watery mouthfeel with crisp carbonation. I don't like it. Seems a bit lightstruck as well... Weird for a locally bought brown color.

jonas (8533) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - DEC 19, 2017
Bottle. Yellow, white lace. Lightly skunked grassy hop nose. Light body, foamy, mellow mouthfeel. Hayish maltiness, ckalk, minerals, DMS, somewhat one-dimensional bittering hops. ok.

Beerhunter111 (23758) - Beerland, GERMANY - APR 10, 2016
50cl bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of grainy malt, mild grassy hops. Taste of grains, mild grassy and spicy hops, nothing special.

3.3
MartinT (10239) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
My Bottom Line:
This dry and bubbly Pils shares bitter herbs and mild hay alongside sulfury components and mineral edges.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the clear pale straw blond.
-Drinkability is there even though this is not a memorable example.
-This brewer has got a distinctive signature.
-The mouthfeel enables big gulps.

On tap at the brewpub.

Erzengel (9893) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 30, 2013
Da fehlt einfach noch was! Insgesamt aber ist es gut trinkbar und sehr erfrischend!!

fonefan (53017) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2012

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light straw, light to moderate hoppy, dusty grass, keller. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, straw. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120217]
