Bottle: Straw golden coloured, smaller, quickly diminishing white head; robust sweet-malty, buttery nose, underpinned by aromatic hops; robust bitter-sweet flavour, solid malty base; distinctive lingering Saaz hops (žatecky chmel) in the bitter-sweetmalty finish. A great franconian-bohemian Pilsener........(pivo čislo 2000) Marheb (5717) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 4, 2014
(Bue sur place): Une pilsener filiforme très sulfureuse et minérale qui contient l’essense du pamplemousse. Une finale légèrement ferreuse n’empêche pas une buvabilité exemplaire. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 18, 2009
Bottle @ brewpub. Straw pale clear but nice big white head. Nice floral garden aroma. Grass with nice background malt. Juicy, light palate with slight slickiness in finish. Nice spicy herbal flavors. Very clean and hoppy and delicious, especially as it was served at nice cellar temperature. yespr (44698) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2011
50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild citrusy and grassy. Cornish, toasted malt and breadish. Medium dry, roasted and slight bitter finish. MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2011
Bottle, 4.8%. Good refreshing hop aroma. Clear shiny yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has a mild and crisp malt flavour with a little sweetish hop. Hint of vegetable, but tastes OK. Late bitterness, slightly rough, but clean.

It’s golden with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of straw, light bitter grain, herbs and grass. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of straw, grain, herbs and the finish is bitter. bierkoning (13201) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUN 19, 2002
Hoparoma, bit soapy. Clean, hopbitter taste with some fruitiness (muscat grapes). A bit soapy, but otherwise clean and crisp. A well made pilsener. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 21, 2007
on tap at the brewpub. quite pale golden, minimal head, fresh, kiwi fruit aroma, grassy, passionfruit vine flavour, decent bitterness. very drinkable pilsener although i was a bit distracted by the spectacular view from the biergarten Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 6, 2009
Golden colour. Some head. Light herbal hop nose. Light bitterness. Herbal accent. Okay pils, some dryness but certainly not exceptional. MartinT (9795) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
My Bottom Line:
This dry and bubbly Pils shares bitter herbs and mild hay alongside sulfury components and mineral edges.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the clear pale straw blond.
-Drinkability is there even though this is not a memorable example.
-This brewer has got a distinctive signature.
-The mouthfeel enables big gulps.
On tap at the brewpub.
