Bottle, [email protected], Kolding. Pours clear dark red with a large, frothy off-white head. Aroma has nice hops, grass, pine, strawberries, bergamot and nice caramel. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has fine caramel, nicely toasted, almost chocolate, grassy hops lending a fine balancing bitterness.

Shared by Maakun at Maakun back from US tasting. Near opaque dark brown, big fluffy creme head. Sweet toasted malts, caramel dipped tuttifrutti and a nice layer of hoppiness on top. Big sweet, medium bitter. Over medium body, heavy oily texture. Feels like a hoppy barleywine, with lower abv than expected by experience. Average bubbly carbonation. Nice surprise.

Bottle shared thanks to Santa fonefan! Hazy dark amber with very very big beige head. This leaked a bit in the box and that’s probably because of the strong carbonation. Sweet malts, dried red fruits, lots of plums, caramel, tutti frutti, bitter herbs, toffee, wort, red wine. Over medium sweet and almost as bitter. Medium bodied with sticky feel.

Taster at Taphouse. Medium high creamy lasting off-white head. Cloudy brown body. Sweet roasted malt caramel fruity, pineapple and peaches, aroma. Nice. Well balanced fruity flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long dry and bitter finish. Pleasant surprise with an alcohol level that seems just right.
