(Growler thanks to bu11zeye) Pours clear rich ruby brown with constant bubbles. Nose of apple, dry cocoa and bready grains. Taste of semi-sweet chocolate, toasty caramel with a thinnish body that’s too roasty/syrupy in flavor. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - APR 2, 2010
Growler thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small white head over a brown body. Aroma is chocolate (powdered), nutty, fruity esters, earthy. Taste is nutty, chocolate, rotten fruit, metallic, cocoa nibs. I homebrewed with cocoa nibs in secondary before and it gave me an off flavor that I sort of notice in this one.
