Bottle, from the brewery, a gift, drunk 30/12/2015. White lacing. Golden appearance. Well carbonated. Aroma is spring flowers, spruce, honey and lemons. Taste is lemons, oranges, honey, marmalade and soft malts. Burnt biscuity malt. A little hot.

berkshirejohn (6655) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2015
50cl bottle from Wroxham Barns. A hazy amber pour with a billowing off-white head; strange farmyard aroma with perhaps a trace of citrus lurking under a lot of damp musty straw; grainy body with a yeasty saison-style taste; and some sour fruit to finish. Not an attractive beer.

From the bottle...unusual tasting. Neither citrusy or fruity or chocolatey or biscuity. Unique.

Bottle from Alesbymail. Clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light fruity and light hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 270214

Cask (Boathouse, Cambridge)
Stodgy mashy aroma. Sticky, mashy, woolly, a bit stodgy. Not doing it for me, but not really flawed as such.

BeerLuvver (114) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2012
Pours golden with a good frothy head which stays well. Scent of gorgeous Amarillo hops, biscuits and plums. Drinking though the head creates a bubbly bubblegum sensation. Initial soft sweetness overtaken by biscuity malts and a nice bitter hop finish. Would love to have seen a few more hops and this would be really good. Lovely finish, if a little ’gassy’.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light hoppy, grass, fruity, orange - citrus notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp hopppy, warm citrus notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110617]
