Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. This was an aged bottle from the chriso rotbox, of unknown provenance. Cheers! Pours clear golden yellow with a white cream topping. Oxidation is quite apparent in the aroma, with secondary notes of mild lemon rind and bread. Light sweet flavour with moderate tang, more oxidation present, faint rindy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with tangy lemon notes. Meh, it’s clearly a bit past its prime. harrisoni (19557) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2010
Cask gravity at The Bell Inn, Ivychurch, Kent. Gold, thin white head. Not bad. Interesting bit of grapefruit. Pale malts are excellent. Touch of sweet fruit. Very good, I like this, easy drinking, decent fruit and malt and some ok hop.
