3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Copper gold with a thin foam. Aromas are toffee and liquorice with bonfire and raisins. Cookie dough with lemon. Flavours are sweet toffee with earthy notes and lemon. Spicy hops with background plumminess. Herbal and bready with a fruity finish. A nice bitter.
Bottled 10/08/13. A golden coloured beer with a white head. Zesty fruity flavours with some zestiness in the nose too. Maybe a hint of spoiling acidity and it’s not a typical Goldings beer at all. It’s OK. asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 16, 2012
