Fin floral bitterhet. Kan gjerne gjentas med full pint.

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen at Tau Slipp og båtbyggeri 31.0817. Clear copper. Diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of sweet malt, syrup, noble hops, dates and a hint of honey. Excellent quaffability!

Fra fat på Brass Monkey, Plymouth 22 Sep 16. Gyldenbrun. Filmskum. Lett rosinaroma. Smaken rosin & svisker. Blir tørr etter hvert. Litt syrlighet i avslutninga.

Aroma; hops, leaves, dust, attic, pale malts, caramel note, grain. Look; off white head, amber clear body. Taste; mild hops, citric note, pale malts, mild caramel note, leaves - leading to a herbal finish with upcoming malts. Feel; normal. Overall; alright. [50cl.btl 4.0% BB.1.9.17 [email protected]]

Cask ale shared with Finn at Brass Monkey. Dotted spots from an almost naked surface. Clear amber body. Subdued aroma of caramel malts. Mixed flavour character of bread, caramel and some impact of lemony hops. Short lived malt bitter finish. So and so (Plymouth 22.09.2016).

Bottle from a shop in Totnes, Devon. Cloudy dark amber with a thin head. A fine full fruit flavoured ale. High fruit aroma too.

Bottled 10/08/13. A cloudy brown coloured beer with a white head and lace. Gushed a bit and turned out yeasty. Fruity hops and bready malts. No honey for me. OK but tainted a bit.

[500ml bottle that my Dad shared with me - cheers!] Pours a murky deep amber-red with no head. Rather sweet aroma. On tasting the honey is balanced by lemon hops and a good earthy bitterness in the finish. It’s still a bit weird though - I’ve never been convinced by honey beers.
