Dark brown with a dark tan head.
Roasty chocolate, coffee aroma.
Taste is strong, creamy chocolate malt with a nice ashy bittering.
Really robust, on all points.
A great Porter. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 2, 2014

As far as Porters go, I’ve had this one many times, in many iterations. The good news is that this is the Porter for the base of many Hunter’s Brewing beers to come. The better news is that this porter is one of the best porters that I’ve ever had.
Is there roasted or black malt in this? Could be. I’m not getting any astringency, but the chocolate in this one is just awesome. And I like a Porter.
