rauchbierlover (671) - Berlin, Berlin, GERMANY - NOV 17, 2017
Hazy amber body with a nice persistent white head. Aroma is grass, bread, hay. Malty taste with tasty grassy&hoppy notes. Dry bitter finish. Medium body, lively carbonation, soft texture

Bottled on November 13, 2017. As a blind tasting. I think it was purchased at Landbierparadies, online shop.
Amber color. Malty, some vegetal off-notes, roasted scent, lacking some hop character. Malty, a bit herbal hoppy, small focus on malt taste, nice hop character though. Medium mouthfeel and bitterness.

Keg at Café Esspress, Bamberg. Clear dark golden colour. Solid amber lager, nothing particularly special about it. Malt dominant, light lingering bitterness.

Malzig süsser Antrunk, röstig kräutrig rauchiger Geschmack. Passt alles nicht so gut zusammen!

Tim Webb (470) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
On draught at Eckerts / Hotel Nepomuk in Bamberg. Served at 12 C. Love at first bite. Maybe it was the temperature that allowed so many flavours to be unlocked at once. I had it bottled at JoeinDalhem’s home a couple of days earlier at fridge temperature and it did very little for me though it got better with the passage of (warming) time. In full flood like today this is a great beer for its weight.

Lowenbrau (4751) - Asturias, SPAIN - JAN 14, 2017
Keg @Cafe Abseits, Bamberg. 07-08-2016.

Pours quite clean dark gold with nice white head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Malty, DMS, bready, caramel nose. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is malty, biscuits, little caramel. Sweet aftertaste. Enjoyable.

Ritzn (1888) - GERMANY - NOV 22, 2016
Clear copper with medium white head. Aroma is grass, herbs, lemon, some peachy malt. Taste is fresh herbal hoppy sourness with a sweet malty body. Hop bitterness as well. In the finish some dirty ugly alcoholic juicy malt. Still Ok.

dnstone (3573) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - OCT 24, 2016
Rich copper color with a soft off white head. Sweet toasted malt aroma. Clean moderately sweet toasted flavor.

Notes: Bottle as a gift from my German friend
