Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with notes of plastic/rubber, DMS, fusel alcohol, apple. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation, moderately alcoholic. Yow, this is some foul foul stuff. Disgusting chemical-and-fuel spill aroma, with a similarly dirty aftertaste that makes me wonder how people can actually choke it down. I mean, really, honestly...how can anyone actually consume this? This was one of the most painful reviews Ive done in a long time. This doesnt even smell safe to drink.

Can. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of red styles, apple peel, some fruitiness and malt. Flavor is sweet and malty worth some apples. Medium body, average carbonation.

24oz can picked up at Discount Liquors in Evanston
Appearance: Pours clear light golden, small to no white head and no lacing
Aroma: Sweet malts and corn
Taste: Sweet malts, doughy, grainy, herbal and bitter finish
Not as bad as some of the other reviews, it is what it is. Gets the job done, if thats what your looking for.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 Sampled from a 23 oz can this beer poured a dark golden color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma is sour tangy macro odor with a hint of light fruits. The flavor is bitter, sour and tangy macro crap. The finish is strong and a bit revolting.

In trying to find some positive here, this beer comes in a cool looking can. Aroma was almost nonexistent but it was a decent looking beer. Clean and crisp looking and it had a white soapy head. This beer also had the least body of any I had ever sampled. It had some light golden color but was almost see through. Even the alcohol content was overrated. I have had high alcohol beer before but this one had almost no effect.

2nd in the natural disaster series of beers, decent clear gold color with fruit yet watery body, aroma is mostly sugary fruit and cardboard

From a 40 oz bottle wrapped in a paper bag. No hiss when cracked. The aroma is gross corn malt and a little heat. Is a chemically dark orange color. Here goes for flavor... Just tastes spritzy sweet with a nice corny mouthfeel and a little bit of that signature AB flavor coming through. Light and watery. I guess it could be worse.

Big Can: Pours clear, honey gold with an active, yellowish head. Aroma is corn, grain, malt. Taste is sweet corn malt, water.... A slight presence of alcohol. Not pleasant at all.....now I must turn my efforts to locating the 12% version....not all whales are pretty.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2010 Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this canned greatness. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is strong corn. No doubt what this beer is brewed with. The flavor is very sweet corn with the slightest hint of orange citrus. Light mouthfeel and medium carbonation. For a macro-produced malt liquor this is not terrible, but compared to regular beers, this is one to avoid.

(24oz can thanks to blutt59) so low it doesnt even have a percentile score! pale yellow, long lasting bubbles oddly enough with excellent lacing. This is gonna be good! Nose is however musty, corn, rotten, trash and sugar. What a delectable combination! Taste of rotten corn, watery grain, odd toastiness with mossy/musty finish. Pretty gross. Thanks a lot Bob!!
