Appearance: Glugs out a clear, orange-gold body with a thin, white head. Smell: Seriously, why do I continue to subject myself to these things? Aroma of toasted, microwaved corn-based cereal and floral-scented chemicals. Taste: Heated corn flavor with an odd sweetness. I’m not sure why I always refer to it as an "odd" sweetness, when the vast majority of these malt liquors has it. Let’s start saying "off-putting sweetness," whaddya say? A needed hint of hop bitterness almost shows up, but is taste-blocked by a wave of chemical flavor. Ah well. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Mercifully, it’s not as nauseatingly tongue-coating as most malt liquors. Drinkability: It’s just barely tolerable, I think that’s the nicest thing to be said of it. Paired well enough with a handful of salted pretzels.

poured this into a glass to see what color it was and to get some aromas... after that it went straight into a funnel. clear gold with a small quickly dissipating white head. aroma of candy caramels, grassy hops and laundry detergent-like floral qualities (not that it’s a bad thing). tastes sweet...like lemon grass, grass, caramel and distinctly of cantaloupe. medium body is a bit acidic and prickly from the carbonation. not a particularly good ML...

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2017 Pours an apple juice color. It’s hard to describe the color. Apple juice, that’s it. It has about a one finger head, no real lacing. This is coming from a 25 oz can into a 16 oz glass. First pour was a dud. Second pour helps things out as far as aroma and taste goes. Anyhow, the head doesn’t last. It is what it is. Nothing impressive.

Aroma is alcohol. I smell breadinesss. There maybe some bubble gum in there.

Taste is sweet that’s the biggest thing. I certainly taste the alcohol. It’s smooth. It’s full bodied. I’m not picking up anything telling as far as unique flavor characteristics. It’s metallic, but I guess that’s from the can. Of course the high alcohol content of this thing voids anything you might pick up.

Mouthfeel is smooth. It’s very smooth. For the amount of alcohol in this thing, it’s surprisingly smooth and sweet. It’s full bodied. It’s bold. It’s strong. Its very dry.

Overall, it’s not bad, It’s hard to rate really. The alcohol is kicking in, so I’m closing now.

Not a bad buzz off of $1.98 worth of fun. Bought two of these tonight, and have drank them both within 20 minutes, and feel GREAT! Not a bad cheap thrill if you can get over the taste...

This has a beautiful caramel color with a foamy white head. It kind of hurts to drink but if you consider the amount consumed divided by the price and time it takes to get drunk, this will score higher than just about any other beer.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2015 Golden yellow color with almost no head. It has a dry, kind of malty flavor. I tried this before and really didn’t care for it. I guess I got a bad one because this isn’t too bad.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2009 Can 71 cl. Clear deep golden with a white head. Sweet corn aroma. Medium body, sweet notes of corn, a little metal, a little sulphur with a discreet bitterness. 100709

(Can 70,9 cl) Pours pilsener golden with a small, white head. Vague aroma of malt. Medium-bodied but still manages to appear watery and sloppy. Notes of corn, some alcohol and then nothiing much more. And certainly no bitterness. 3/2/3/1/6=1.5 010406

8/26/07 Aroma is sweet corny, bready malt with some light DMS. Appearance is a very light gold with a moderate white head. Flavor is sweet, grainy malt forward with moderate bittering to balance. Simple, but actually went down pretty easy. After it opened up, it got pretty sour, though. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carb texture. Overall, I was pretty surprised. This went down a lot easier than I thought it would. Still, that funkiness comes out as soon as it gets past 45 degrees or so.

Does its job - strong, gets you feeling good for cheap and comes in a big can..... Great after a bad day, not good anytime else.
