Can at the Cotteridge Convention thanks to Leighton. It pours very pale gold with a small white head. The nose is sweet, sugary, sticky, grainy and some chemical fumes. The taste is sweet, grainy, cheap white bread, light alcohol, syrupy and corn bread. Medium body and average carbonation. Not nearly as much buzz as I had hoped for. Not too bad for the style. Drinks easy.

24th Jan 2014. Can at the RateBeer Cotteridge Wine meeting. This is the sort of beer that should be drank with the can inside a paper bag while you lie underneath a Park Bench, so you think no one can see you! Lager looking beer, golden, clean and bright, white fading head. Sweet, corn, grain and nasty. Cheers Leighton, of all the US beers, you brought this! Disclaimer: Leighton also brought some awesome stuff with him, thanks mate.

Can at the Cotteridge Convention, many thanks to Leighton for this one. Straw to gold with fizzed head. Sweet liquor, it wouldnt be amiss in the hands of the local winos. Really pretty bad. Tried it, moving on.

Forced to drink from a massive bottle of this by Tubes, thanks a lot guys. Clear gold color, fluffy head with good retention. Aroma of air. Taste of water with one drop of cleaning fluid spilled into it. Definitely on of the better malt liquors I have tasted.

Transfer from BA review on 3-23-12 - Poured from 40 oz bottle into grenade pint glass Appearance Pours a medium golden color with a big billowy white head. The head is composed of big carbonation bubbles; the ones that are seen rising through the beer. The head fades very fast and gives way to a very light amount of lacing. Smell The aroma is heavy in corn and has a slight metallic odor. Taste The taste is of corn and rice in nature mixed with a metallic flavor. Some astringency comes in and mixes with the other present flavors. There is a little bit of bitterness that comes in the end and leaves a sting on the tongue. It is actually sorta good as it leaves a rather nice tingle and gets rid of some of the less pleasant metallic and astringent flavors. Mouthfeel Rather average body with a medium level of carbonation. It helps make the brew easier to drink and is good for the style. Overall Not really the best malt out there. With the price of this 40 oz at only at $2.25, what should I expect though, right?
