Bottled. A slightly hazy golden beer with a huge off white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and some minerals. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, hay, and some minerals, leading to a dry finish. KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2009
Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and hints of hops. Sweet malty flavour with diacetyl, malt, butter and caramel notes. Finished sweet. Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2008
Draught. High creamy lasting white head. Hazy light yellow green body. Banana fruit aroma. Watery fruity flavor. No hops bitterness. Too sweet. edelbrauer (61) - Rügen, GERMANY - JUN 22, 2008
light golden and unclear with a dense thick head.fruity and grainy, munich malty nose, with little hops in the back. In the mouth it behaves extremly gentle and round, tastes full bodied and the munich malts dominates the impression, notes of honey, too. Suprisingly I find hind of hops in the finish and the malt is note totally unbalanced like in the south german examples of the style. Very well crafted and convincing!

From tap at the brewpub. Golden, slightly hazy with a dense, creamy head. The aroma is somewhat weak with notes of malt. The flavour has sweetness, light notes of malt and smooth caramel, light fruit/citrus and a low, but slightly dry, bitterness. It’s quite refreshing. yespr (45436) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2008

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Served almost clear, with an orange-golden color and a white head. The flavor is almost weiss-like in the start, at least there’s banana and wheat there, but it’s more subdued after a while. Fruity start on the flavor, with banana and citrus, pale malt and bitterness coming shortly after. Medium, effervescent mouthfeel and a fruity finish. Quite pleasant and refreshing in the heat. Draught. Nicely refreshing, citric, creamy aroma. Cloudy yellow colour, small white head. The flavour is mild and malty, and the bitterness low. A typical German brewpub Helles.
