Bottle, thanks Pivnizub! Bready, aromatic abd grassy hop nose. Amber, golden, creamy lacing head, fine carbonation. Sweet fruity (apples, pears, peach) base, bread, good aromatic hop play. Chewy, mellow mouthfeel, sparkling in the back of the throat. I got a bit nervous when I saw hints of mold hiding under the bottle cap, but it was luckily not spoiled in any way - I would have hated to be cheated from this experience. kappldav123 (6158) - GERMANY - FEB 16, 2014
Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass zippy, nice creamy head. Starts fine malty-spicy, notes of some herbs, a bit grasy. Finish not much milder, still fine spicy, intense malty. Really good märzen! MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - OCT 20, 2008
(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a big and cream-coloured dense foamy head. Sweet cara-malty with notes of biscuits and shades of honey, accompanied by herbal hops and a tinge of metal. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Caramel-malty and fairly bready taste with shy notes of honey and herbal hops coming up towards the medium-dry and moderately hop-bitter finish. Quaffable and rounded brew (14.X.08). pivnizub (10910) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 17, 2009

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear dark yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (apricot, orange, flowers), with a hint of honey.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation.
Unexciting, but thankfully clean and nicely balanced. Mild and forgettable, but perfectly enjoyable. fonefan (52411) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 1, 2012
