Countbeer (6589) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2014
UPDATED: APR 6, 2014 Bottle: Thanks Douberd: Served in a shaker:
Medium sized white foamy head on top of a hazy yellow orange colored beer.
Aromas of lambic a liks, some peach, lacto bac. some sweet tarty tones and wild yeast. (Huh? Infection I assume, but smells very nice).
Flavours of sweet hops, herbs, some malts, hints of wilder yeast, light caramel, some lacto tones, cream... Must be a mild infection, but I think it only helps the beer a bit. Nice.
Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, herbs, yeast, spicy sweets and a slight hint of carbo gass..
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light creamy texture.
Decent but where comes the wild yeast from? Hunsell (403) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 5, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2005 Very average beer. Golden coured, hazy appearance. Pineapples, some hops, easy drinkable. The body is slightly thin
Rerate: On tap. SO much more interesting than the bottled version. Starts off bitter and ends sweet for the change. Good full mouthfeel. German characteristics, which isn’t strange because it’s currently brewed in Bavaria. JorisPPattyn (10113) - BELGIUM - MAY 2, 2005
Draught Clear dark gold; white head, leaving some lace. Green leaves smell, as from Buxus or Ligustrum , some grain too. Dry grains taste, with a pinch of caramel, sweetish and a spicey, peppery finish. Excellent balance! Medium at best, but the alcohol is there. This is rather remarkable. Where they went to fetch this Bavarian brewery is anybody’s guess, but it made no small difference, IMO. pivnizub (10906) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 10, 2010
Bottle: Golden, a bit unclear, medium-sized - slowly collapsing off-white head; moderate to robust sweet honeyish and grainy nose with a very distinctive spicy "woody2 background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet malty and hoppy finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Good and tasty - does anyone really believe that this HELLER BOCK is a LANDBIER..........????? JanEric (1250) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 16, 2010
Tap. Bitter, with a somewhat alcoholic aftertaste. Long finish, somewhat hazy in the glass. Big white head, dark-blonde, nice, but a bit alcoholic.

This beer has a gold yellow body - hue with a little bitter / flavor initial flavor and a medium body. PotjeBier (3837) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2013
75 cl bottle, shared with family. Golden blonde color, fairly clear. White head, with a thin layer retention. Aroma’s: fruity, grain, malty. Flavor is light bitter with a hint of malty sweetness. Body is medium. Finish is somewhat dry, medium bitter, slightly herbal & earthy. kappldav123 (6153) - GERMANY - SEP 13, 2013
Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, huge head. Starts milder than exspected, spicy-malty. Some woody notes, modest sweet. Finish drier, but still spicy. Not bad! Benzai (16918) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 9, 2014
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow golden color, huge soapy white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly a hint of brett (that’s not intended is it?), slightly metallic, light to moderately bitter. Average body, medium carbonation. Well, I suspect something went wrong or at least I doubt it was intended like this, but it worked out in the end. DwarfeD (3539) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - DEC 29, 2016
30cl bottle shared at home. Somewhat pale golden with a medium white soapy head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Ginger, caramel, malts and herbs. Quite nice, I’ve expected less.
